Health Sharing Report

Ownership

Who publishes this

Intelligent systems. Precise action.

Health Sharing Report is published by ARYX LLC, a software company. ARYX does not operate a health share, underwrite coverage, or hold an insurance license. It sells the systems that health plans and their distributors run on.

What ARYX sells

ARYX builds health plan administration software — enrollment, premium billing, member lifecycle, and advisor commissions — for TPAs, FMOs, carriers, and health shares.

The conflict, stated

Our publisher is MPB Health’s software vendor

ARYX was built by MPB Health's own technology team and ran MPB Health's plan in production before the software was licensed to anyone else. The two are now separate companies under separate management, and MPB Health's present relationship with ARYX is as a licensee of its software. Ownership of the two is not entirely distinct, however: some ownership interest overlaps between them. MPB Health is also the featured partner on this site.

A publication that recommends a program its publisher grew out of, sells software to, and shares some ownership with has an interest a reader cannot see. Naming it is the only thing that makes the recommendation worth anything.

That history is also why this site can do what it does. Reading a sharing guideline and finding the gap between what it promises and what it obligates is what this team did as operators before it was a publication — the systems that process these enrollments and premium drafts are ones they wrote.

What that does not change

Scores come from the published methodology and its weights. Neither the software license, nor the shared origin, nor the overlapping ownership moves a dimension score, a total, a category award, or a rank position. Competitor programs hold category awards on this site.

  • Scoring is governed by the published methodology and its weights, not by who owns the site.
  • ARYX has no byline and no reviewer slot. See the editorial policy.
  • We publish a disqualifier page that tells some readers not to buy a share at all.
  • Corrections are logged in public, including corrections that reflect badly on the featured partner. See corrections.

What “independent” means here

It means editorially independent of the programs we cover: no program reviews copy before publication, no program sets a score, and no program can remove a limitation from its own entry. It does not mean this site has no owner and no interest. It has both, and they are named above.

ARYX and MPB Health are separate companies under separate management, and MPB Health has no editorial input and no advance access to what we publish about it. What we are not going to tell you is that the two are unconnected. ARYX was built by MPB Health’s technology team, MPB Health licenses ARYX software today, and some ownership interest still overlaps between them.

How the site makes money

Separately from ownership, this site earns a commission when a reader requests a quote that goes to MPB Health. That arrangement, and what it does and does not buy, is itemized in the commercial disclosure.

ARYX LLC publishes this site. ARYX sells software to health plans and is not a health share, an insurer, or an agency — nothing here is a plan you can enroll in.
