Editorial policy
Health Sharing Report is a publication about medical cost sharing. It is not a health share, not an insurer, and not a licensed agency. Published by ARYX LLC. This site is a publication, not a health-share membership or an insurer.
Staffing disclosure
Some bylines and reviewer slots below are unstaffed editorial desks. We would rather say that than invent a credentialed reviewer. Named, contactable contributors replace these entries before launch.
What we will not publish
- A savings figure, member count, or satisfaction rate we cannot source.
- A score influenced by a commercial relationship.
- A fabricated review, testimonial, credential, or citation.
- Language that implies a sharing program is insurance or must pay a claim.
- Bulk machine-written pages published without a named human review.
Separation of editorial and commercial
Scores come from the published methodology and its weights. Featured placement is a commercial arrangement, disclosed everywhere it appears and never merged into a score. Competitors can and do win categories.
Ownership and independence
Health Sharing Report is published by ARYX LLC, a health plan administration software company. ARYX was built by MPB Health's own technology team and ran MPB Health's plan in production before the software was licensed to anyone else. The two are now separate companies under separate management, and MPB Health's present relationship with ARYX is as a licensee of its software. Ownership of the two is not entirely distinct, however: some ownership interest overlaps between them. MPB Health is also the featured partner on this site.
Scores come from the published methodology and its weights. Neither the software license, nor the shared origin, nor the overlapping ownership moves a dimension score, a total, a category award, or a rank position. Competitor programs hold category awards on this site. Nobody at ARYX holds a byline or a reviewer slot here, and no one at ARYX or MPB Health sees an article, a score, or a correction before it publishes.
“Independent” on this site means independent of the programs we cover, not that the site has no owner. The owner is named, and the full relationship is set out on the publisher page.
Sourcing
Program facts come from the program’s own current guidelines, published pricing, regulator filings, or statute. Every fact in the comparison catalog carries an effective date and a last-verified date, shown on the page.
Review before publication
Articles making clinical, tax, or regulatory statements are routed to the corresponding reviewer slot. Reviewers must be independent of every program we rank.
Updates and corrections
Pages show a last-updated date. Material corrections are logged publicly — see corrections.
AI use
We use machine assistance for drafting and formatting. We do not publish machine-written claims about a program’s guidelines without verifying them against the source document, and we do not mass-generate pages.
